OCCUPIED QUDS, June 23 (YPA) – The Hebrew newspaper “Maariv,” affiliated with the Israeli occupation, revealed warnings issued by the head of the Israeli General Security Service (Shin Bet), David Zini, during recent closed-door security talks.
These warnings highlighted escalating intelligence fears regarding the potential exposure of the occupied city of Umm al-Rashrash—Zionist-labeled as (Eilat)—to a large-scale ground and naval invasion, similar to what occurred on the Gaza front on October 7th. He specifically named Yemen as the most prominent entity capable of executing this surprise attack under the slogan: “The next October 7th will be deep within Eilat.”
According to what the Hebrew newspaper reported yesterday, Monday, Zini warned bitterly that the city faces complex security challenges that make it a soft underbelly and vulnerable to such a bold scenario. This is due to its isolated geographical distance from the center of the occupation, the ease of penetrating its land borders, and its maritime positioning on the Gulf of Aqaba, which constitutes a fatal security weakness exploited by adversaries.
The Israeli enemy media confirms that these sensitive intelligence data have forced the military command to place the utmost necessity on strengthening security and military readiness in the southern region, and pushing exceptional reinforcements to counter potential threats from the Red Sea front.
The occupation entity’s assessments assert that those it termed the “Houthis” (Ansarallah) possess the boldness and operational competence to execute this land and naval landing, alongside Palestinian organizations that might simultaneously attempt to test and penetrate the long borders connecting occupied Palestine with Jordan to distract the occupation’s defensive systems.
In its reading of the situation, the Israeli military establishment acknowledged that the Yemeni Armed Forces are currently undergoing a phase of intensive training and maneuvers to simulate the storming of settlements.
It confirmed that the Yemenis are still seeking to challenge the occupation and break its prestige through all available military means—starting from launching ballistic missiles and long-range drones, leading up to actual planning for sending ground and elite forces to impose an unprecedented field reality that deepens the historical dilemma of the occupation.
