2 Palestinian citizens injured by Zionist settlers fire north of Hebron

HEBRON, June 20 (YPA) – Two Palestinian citizens were wounded by live fire, on Saturday evening, during a settler attack on the town of Surif, north of Hebron in the West Bank.

Local sources reported that settlers stormed the “Municipality Hall Street” area and opened fire on houses, wounding a father and his son, according to the Sanad News Agency and the Palestinian Red Crescent.

The attack comes amid escalating attacks by the Israeli army and settlers in the West Bank, where the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission documented 1,659 attacks during last May, including 551 carried out by settlers.
