Health Ministry: 72,993 killed, 173,230 injured in Gaza since October 2023

GAZA, June 13 (YPA) – Over 72,993 Palestinians have been killed and 73,230 others wounded as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 2023.

In its latest statistical report, the Gaza-based Ministry of Health in Gaza declared on Saturday hospitals across the Gaza Strip received two fatalities and 11 injured individuals during the previous 48 hours.

The ministry also reported that since the ceasefire came into effect, 983 people have been killed, 3,122 injured, and 783 bodies have been recovered from areas previously inaccessible to rescue teams.

According to the ministry, a number of victims remain trapped under rubble or in locations that emergency and civil defense crews have been unable to reach due to ongoing operational challenges and conditions on the ground.
