Iran pursues result-oriented diplomacy, draft agreement under review

TEHRAN, June 13 (YPA) – Esmaeil Baghaei, the spokesperson for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the negotiating delegation, stated on Friday that Iran has made every effort to ensure its narrative is strictly grounded in reality.

He emphasized the government’s commitment to transparency regarding the negotiation process.

Baghaei clarified the details of the Pakistan-mediated talks, outlining the specific issues that Tehran considers non-negotiable “red lines.”

Speaking on Friday evening, the spokesperson noted that Iran’s primary challenge during this period has been the contradictory statements issued by the opposing party. He stressed that Iran’s approach throughout the negotiations has remained strictly “result-oriented.”

Regarding the text of the understanding, Baghaei announced that internal stakeholders are currently in the final stages of summarizing and drafting. He added that relevant authorities are actively meeting to review the initial draft of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
