In response to aggression, IRGC targets 21 American military targets in region

TEHRAN, June 10 (YPA) – The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in Iran announced, at dawn on Wednesday, that it targeted 21 American goals in the region.

This came in response to the American aggression on the south of the country, which was launched under the pretext of the “downing of an Apache helicopter” near the Strait of Hormuz, and despite an existing “ceasefire” agreement and ongoing negotiations between the two sides.

The Iranian strikes included targeting F-35 fighter jet hangars and the US Army’s command and control center in Al-Azraq Base in Jordan, a drone attack targeting the headquarters of the US Fifth Fleet (the naval arm of the U.S. Central Command) in Bahrain, missile and aerial operations that resulted in destroying 4 key targets using solid-fuel long-range missiles, and the downing of an American MQ-9 drone in the skies over Jam city in Bushehr Governorate.

For its part, the “Khatam al-Anbiya” Central Headquarters confirmed that several US bases were subjected to powerful attacks carried out by the Army and the Revolutionary Guard. It warned the US military against repeating acts of aggression, emphasizing that any new assault would be met with harsher, more severe, and broader responses against pre-determined targets in the region.
