Israeli occupation suffered heavy losses in southern Lebanon

BEIRUT, June 09 (YPA) – The Lebanese resistance declared on Tuesday a series of attacks targeting Israeli occupation’s positions, personnel, and equipment in southern Lebanon, claiming direct hits during the operations.

According to the resistance, its fighters engaged an Israeli Hermes 450 drone operating over the Iqlim al-Tuffah area with a surface-to-air missile, forcing the aircraft to withdraw from the airspace.

The resistance also said it targeted an Israeli Namer armored vehicle on the southeastern outskirts of the town of Zoutar using an Ababil drone, claiming a direct strike.

In a separate operation, the group reported targeting an Israeli military unit and a communications vehicle at Tallat al-Balad near the town of Al-Qantara with two drones, alleging casualties among the targeted force.

The resistance further stated that it launched rocket attacks against an advanced the occupation’s position in the town of Maroun al-Ras as part of its ongoing operations along the border area.
