13 Palestinians killed within 24 hours as Zionist forces close Gaza crossings

GAZA, June 08 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation army continued its violations of the ceasefire agreement on its 242nd day across various areas of the Gaza Strip Over the past 24 hours.

These violations have resulted in the killing of 13 Palestinians and the injury of dozens more across different parts of the territory.

Four people, including a woman, were killed when an Israeli airstrike targeted a “Sorento” vehicle near Al-Lababidi Junction west of Gaza City. The victims were identified as Khader Ibrahim Al-Jamasi, Mohammed Abdullah Al-Harazin, Abbas Mohammed Abu Jabal, and Dina Mahmoud Hassan Al-Madhoun.

Ten others, including two women, were injured after Israeli naval forces shelled the Al-Salatin area west of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip.

In Khan Younis, five people were killed and more than 17 injured after Israeli aircraft struck Al-Nas area in the western part of the city. The victims included Ismail Khairi Bahri Al-Laham, Mohammed Fareed Abdul Subh, Mustafa Fawaz Mohammed Adwan, Mustafa Rami Mohammed Abu Younes, and Hossam Zuhair Mahmoud Al-Tantawi.

Since dawn, Israeli artillery has intermittently shelled areas along the northeastern border of the Gaza Strip, coinciding with gunfire from Israeli military vehicles.

The Israeli occupation army announced the closure of Gaza crossings, claiming it was due to Iranian missile attacks.
