Satellite images reveal damage to US “Ali Al Salem” airbase due to Iranian response

FOLLOW-UPS, June 03 (YPA) – Satellite images show the destruction of a hangar for drones or aircraft inside the US “Ali Al Salem” air base in Kuwait, according to the ISNA news agency, following the Iranian armed forces’ response to the US attack on sites in the south of the country.

This development comes after US attacks targeted an Iranian oil tanker and a communications tower on Qeshm Island in southern Iran.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry condemned the attacks, stating that “the aggression carried out by US forces against an Iranian oil tanker in the Strait of Hormuz and a communications tower in Qeshm originated from territories belonging to countries in the region.”

The ministry added that the responsibility for the consequences of this escalation lies with the United States and the Israeli entity, in addition to the countries that provide their lands and capabilities to carry out such operations.

Tehran also held the governments of Kuwait and Bahrain directly responsible for the recent attacks, according to the statement.
