Gaza Health Ministry: 119 Palestinians martyred in May

GAZA, June 02 (YPA) – The Palestinian Ministry of Health recorded the martyrdom of 119 Palestinians in May 2026, the highest since the beginning of the year.

The ministry explained that women, children, and the elderly constituted 30% of the victims, including 19 children (16%) and 10 women (8.5%).

The genocidal crimes committed by the occupation army from October 7, 2023, to the present day have resulted in the martyrdom of 72,942 Palestinians and the injury of 172,967 others, the majority of whom are children and women, in a preliminary count with thousands of victims still buried under the rubble.
