Iranian Armed Forces: We will not tolerate continued Zionist crimes in Lebanon

TEHRAN, June 01 (YPA) – The official spokesman for the Iranian Armed Forces, Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi, said that his forces will not tolerate the continued crimes of the Zionist entity in Lebanon.

The official Iranian news agency quoted Brigadier General Shekarchi on Monday as saying, “The Zionist entity, an aggressor and child-killer, exploited the ceasefire, openly violated Lebanese territory, and committed horrific massacres in Lebanon, resulting in more than 3,000 martyrs and wounded among innocent people, including women and children.”

He pointed out that Western governments, in the face of these crimes, are choosing a policy of silence or tacit support for these blatant inhumane violations.

Brigadier General Shekarchi warned, “We are sending a clear message to the leaders of the murderous Zionist entity and their supporters; the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran will not be able to remain silent about the continuation of these brutal attacks against Lebanon.”
