TRHRAN, May 27 (YPA) – Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence declared on Wednesday that it had carried out what it described as “painful offensive strikes” against Israel, adding that details of the operations would be disclosed at a later time.
In a statement, the ministry said that following the Israeli occupation’s military failure, the focus has increasingly shifted toward “hybrid warfare,” involving economic, media, cyber, and psychological dimensions.
According to the statement, Iranian intelligence assessments identified seven main areas of Israeli activity against Iran, including economic pressure, social and sectarian incitement, the deployment of operatives to conduct attacks, weapons and communications smuggling, media campaigns, espionage and target identification for strikes, as well as cyberattacks.
It stated that over the past eight months Iran had faced as a multifaceted campaign involving intelligence confrontations, terrorist operations, sanctions, psychological warfare, attacks on infrastructure, and the assassination of senior military and security figures.
Despite these pressures, the ministry asserted that Iran’s adversaries had failed to achieve their objectives, stressing that the country remains resilient and steadfast in confronting ongoing challenges.
