Sanaa FM efforts condolences to Hamas over martyrdom of senior commander
SANAA, May 27 (YPA) – Deputy Foreign Minister and Expatriates Minister in Sanaa, Abdul Wahid Abu Ras, efforted on Wednesday his condolences to Khalil al-Hayya following the martyrdom of senior Al-Qassam Brigades commander Mohammed Odeh, who was killed along with his wife and two sons in an Israeli occupation airstrike targeting a residential building in Gaza City.
In a letter message, Abu Ras praised what he described as Odeh’s long history of “jihad, sacrifice, and steadfastness” in support of the Palestinian cause, stressing that such sacrifices strengthen the spirit of resistance and reinforce the continuation of the struggle against Israeli occupation.
He stated that the escalation of Israeli military actions reflects what he described as the nearing collapse of the “occupying entity,” adding that Palestine, particularly Gaza, remains at the center of the ongoing confrontation.
Abu Ras also reaffirmed Yemen’s official and popular support for the Palestinian cause and the Palestinian resistance until Palestinians achieve what he described as their legitimate rights.
The Yemeni official extended his condolences to Khalil al-Hayya, head of Hamas movement, the family of Mohammed Odeh, and the Palestinian people.
