Sayyed Abdul-Malik congratulates Muslims on Eid al-Adha, reaffirms Yemen’s support for Arab, Islamic causes
SANAA, May 26 (YPA) – The leader of the Revolution Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din Al-Houthi congratulated the Yemeni people and the Islamic world on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, reaffirming Yemen’s stance on Islamic Unity and regional issues
In a statement marking the occasion, Sayyed al-Houthi said “Eid al-Adha is associated with Hajj, one of the pillars of Islam, and carries deep spiritual and educational significance. It recalls the historical legacy of Prophet Ibrahim and his son Ismail (peace be upon them), and the profound lessons they embodied in submission to God and devotion to His cause, as well as the elevated status, divine care, and blessed outcome that followed.”
He added, “Hajj represents a symbol of Muslim unity and a reminder of their sacred responsibilities to be a nation that enjoins good and forbids evil.”
Sayyed al-Houthi explained that the lesson of the stoning of the Jamarat is disavowal of Satan and his allies and rejection of tyrannical powers, saying that the actions of the United States, “Israel,” and their allies fall within what he described as corruption, obstruction of God’s path, and violations of sanctities.
He added that Eid al-Adha is a time of takbeer and remembrance of God, as well as an occasion for charity, social solidarity, family ties, supporting the poor and needy, and strengthening bonds of brotherhood among Muslims.
Sayyed al-Houthi stressed that the Islamic nation urgently needs to make use of such occasions to strengthen awareness and insight, and to reinforce faith-based identity and trust in God, particularly in light of the ongoing American-Israeli aggression.
He said Palestinian suffering is a deep wound in the Islamic world and stressed that the Palestinian cause concerns all Muslims amid killings, starvation, displacement, and violations of holy sites, especially Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Sayyed al-Houthi called for providing all forms of support to the Palestinian people and their fighters, as well as to Hezbollah in Lebanon, which he said is confronting Israeli aggression with steadfastness and effectiveness.
He also praised the position of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Iranian people in confronting what he described as US-Israeli aggression.
Sayyed al-Houthi affirmed the Yemeni people have raised the banner of jihad, supported the Palestinian cause, and rejected insults against the Holy Quran, reaffirming Yemen’s commitment to Islamic causes and opposition to US and Israeli tyranny.
