Ansarullah congratulates Lebanon on ‘Liberation Anniversary’
SANAA, May 26 (YPA) – The Political Bureau of Ansarullah extended congratulations to the Lebanese people, the Islamic resistance, and the Secretary-General of Hezbollah on the 26th anniversary of Resistance and Liberation Day, expressing pride in the historic achievements accomplished by the resistance in confronting the Israeli occupation.
In a statement issued Monday, the bureau reaffirmed its solidarity with the Islamic resistance in Lebanon, stressing that it has presented a prominent model of steadfastness and the ability to thwart Zionist aggression.
The statement said the resistance’s choice of confrontation had proven to be the most effective path for protecting land, sovereignty, and dignity.
The bureau noted that the liberation anniversary represents an important occasion to recall Lebanon’s experience in confronting occupation, adding that the period highlighted the scale of sacrifices that contributed to ending the Israeli enemy’s presence in southern Lebanon.
The statement also criticized the positions of some Lebanese political forces that continue to place hopes on normalization, considering such bets as inconsistent with the aspirations of the Lebanese people.
The Political Bureau of Ansarullah further praised the role played by martyr of humanity, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, considering him as a leading symbol in the path of resistance, confrontation, steadfastness, and sacrifice.
The statement comes as Lebanon marks the anniversary of the Israeli enemy’s withdrawal from southern Lebanon in May 2000 after years of resistance operations led by Hezbollah against the occupation forces.
