Lebanese citizens injured due to Israeli airstrikes on southern Lebanon

BEIRUT, May 21 (YPA) – The Zionist enemy’s warplanes launched on Thursday evening an airstrike on the town of Ain Baal in the Tyre district of South Lebanon, resulting in several injuries.

The Lebanese National News Agency reported that the hostile raid on the town of Ain Baal targeted a motorcycle, causing injuries.

Since March 2nd, the Israeli enemy has escalated its criminal aggression against Lebanon, targeting Lebanese towns, villages, cities, and civilian infrastructure, resulting in thousands of martyrs and wounded, and the displacement of approximately 1.5 million Lebanese citizens.

The temporary ceasefire agreement came into effect in mid-April, but the Israeli enemy army commits daily violations of the agreement.
