Sanaa receives letter from Hezbollah praising Yemen’s support

SANAA, May 21 (YPA) – Deputy Foreign Minister and Expatriates Minister in Sanaa, Abdul Wahid Abu Ras, received on Thursday a response letter from Hezbollah’s official for Arab and international relations, Ammar Al-Mousawi.

According to the Saba News Agency, Al-Mousawi expressed honest appreciation, on behalf of himself and Hezbollah’s leadership, for the deputy foreign minister’s message conveying support for the resistance and the Lebanese people.

Al-Mousawi stated: “I would like to take this opportunity to emphasize the bonds of brotherhood that unite us and to commend the distinguished role played by the leadership and people of Yemen in supporting their brothers in Lebanon, Palestine and Iran in confronting the unjust wars waged by American and Zionist forces.”

He added: “The Yemeni people, under the leadership of Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, have demonstrated steadfast determination and strong faith in defending their land, national dignity, and Islamic identity, presenting a remarkable example of sacrifice and resistance.”

Al-Mousawi further said that the heroic struggle carried out by the Lebanese people and resistance fighters against what he described as the criminal Zionist enemy reflects the deeply rooted nature of resistance in the region in confronting expansionist ambitions.

He stressed that the resistance, through the resilience of its leaders and fighters and the support of its people, remains capable of thwarting enemy plans and challenging the image of Israeli occupation’s superiority and arrogance, affirming confidence in eventual victory and liberation.
