TEHRAN, May 20 (YPA) – Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy announced that 26 vessels, including oil tankers, have passed through the Strait of Hormuz over the past 24 hours after obtaining authorization from the IRGC Navy.
In a statement released on May 20, the IRGC Navy said 26 vessels transited the Strait of Hormuz during the past day in coordination with and under the protection of its forces.
“During the past 24 hours, 26 vessels, including oil tankers, container ships, and other commercial ships, passed through the Strait of Hormuz with coordination and security provided by the IRGC Navy,” the statement said.
“Traffic through the Strait of Hormuz is continuing after obtaining authorization and in coordination with the IRGC Navy,” it added.
