Death toll of Israeli aggression on Lebanon rises to 3073 martyrs

BEIRUT, May 20 (YPA) – The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that the death toll from the Israeli aggression against Lebanon since March 2nd has risen to 3,073 martyrs and 9,362 wounded

In its statistical report, the ministry said that 31 martyrs and 61 wounded were recorded during the past 24 hours.

The report stated tha 116 medical personnel were martyred and 263 others were injured as a result of 147 attacks targeting ambulances and hospitals.

The escalation has resulted in hundreds of deaths, thousands of injuries, and the displacement of approximately 1.5 million Lebanese, most of whom are outside shelters.

Despite the ceasefire agreement coming into effect in mid-April, Israel continues to commit daily violations, according to the report.
