Hezbollah warns Lebanese government against compromising sovereignty, national rights

BEIRUT, May 16 (YPA) –  The Lebanese Resistance, led by Hezbollah, warned the Lebanese government on Saturday against making any unwarranted concessions or engaging in political and security tracks that could compromise national sovereignty and rights.

In an official statement, the Resistance indicated that any talk of a peace agreement between the government and the Zionist entity is nothing more than a deviation and an exoneration of the enemy for its aggression.

The Lebanese Resistance called for steadfast adherence to national fundamentals, which include the withdrawal of the occupation forces, a cessation of aggression, the release of prisoners, and the unconditional reconstruction of the southern regions.

The statement further emphasized that the occupation will not be able to impose stability on Lebanese territory in the presence of the Resistance and the Lebanese people, underscoring that the goal of full liberation remains active and ongoing.
