Al-Mashat welcomes prisoner exchange agreement in Amman, reaffirms “all-for-all” principle

SANAA, May 14 (YPA) – President of the Supreme Political Council in Sanaa, Mahdi Al-Mashat, welcomed the signing of the prisoner exchange agreement on Thursday in the Jordanian capital, Amman.

During a telephone call with the Chairman of the National Committee for Prisoners’ Affairs, Abdulqadir al-Mortada, and the Commander of the Hamdan Axis, Major General Yahya al-Ruzami, Al-Mashat emphasized that Sanaa has provided, and continues to provide, all necessary facilities to fully resolve this humanitarian issue.

He stated the goal remains the release of all prisoners and detainees held by the “Saudi-American aggression and its mercenaries,” in accordance with the “all-for-all” principle agreed upon in the roadmap.

Al-Mashat reassured the families of the prisoners that their suffering remains a top priority, asserting that the Council will spare no effort until all prisoners return safely to their families.

For their part, Al-Mortada and Al-Ruzami described today’s development as a “historic achievement,” resulting from continuous follow-up and directives from the leadership to conclude this humanitarian file.
