GAZA, May 12 (YPA) – At least 72,742 people have been killed and 172,565 others wounded as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 7, 2023, according to the Gaza-based Ministry of Health.

In its daily statistical report, the ministry said hospitals across the territory had received two newly recovered bodies and 10 injured individuals during the past 24 hours.

The ministry added that since the collapse of the ceasefire on October 11, at least 856 people have been killed, 2,463 injured, and 770 bodies recovered from beneath the rubble.

According to the statement, many victims remain trapped under destroyed buildings or in areas inaccessible to emergency teams, as ambulance and civil defense crews continue to face difficulties reaching affected locations.
