OCCUPIED PALESTINE, May 07 (YPA) – Four Israeli soldiers were injured on Thursday, one of them critically, following the explosion of a drone in southern Lebanon, the Israeli occupation military said.
In a statement, the occupation military explained that one soldier sustained serious injuries, while three others suffered minor wounds on Wednesday after an explosive-laden drone detonated in southern Lebanon.
The statement added that the soldiers were evacuated to a hospital for medical treatment and that their families had been notified.
This brings the number of Israeli soldiers wounded in southern Lebanon over the past 24 hours to seven as a result of Hezbollah drone attacks.
Later that night, air raid sirens sounded at 12:48 a.m. in the settlement of Kiryat Shmona following a drone infiltration. The occupation army later said the air force had intercepted a “suspicious aerial target” launched from Lebanon.
