IRGC: No commercial vessel or oil tanker has crossed Strait of Hormuz in past hours

TEHRAN, May 04 (YPA) – The Iranian Revolutionary Guard confirmed on Monday that no commercial vessel or oil tanker has passed through the Strait of Hormuz in the past few hours.

In a statement, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard’s public relations office said: “No commercial vessel or oil tanker has passed through the Strait of Hormuz in recent hours, and the claims of American officials are baseless and pure lies,” according to the Iranian news agency Tasnim.

“Any other maritime movements that contradict the principles declared by the Revolutionary Guard’s naval forces will face serious risks, and violating vessels will be stopped firmly and forcefully,” the statement added.
