DAMASCUS, April 25 (YPA) – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has documented 51 incursions carried out by Israeli occupation forces in southern Syria since the beginning of April, describing the move as a striking and unprecedented field escalation.
The observatory reported that operations were concentrated in border villages and towns within the Daraa and Quneitra countryside, involving intensive ground and aerial military movements.
The report highlighted that these incursions were accompanied by direct violations against civilians, including:
- Raids, searches, and arrests.
- Establishment of temporary checkpoints and road closures.
- Direct targeting of civilians and their private property.
This escalation comes amid ongoing tension in the region, with warnings of worsening humanitarian and security repercussions for the residents of border areas in southern Syria.
