Iran’s military warns US of decisive response over maritime activities in region

TEHRAN, April 25 (YPA) – Spokesperson of Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, Ebrahim Zolfaghari, issued a stern warning to the United States on Saturday, stressing that Iran’s armed forces are at their highest level of readiness and capability.

In a statement carried by Tasnim News Agency, Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters said that if U.S. forces continue blockade, piracy, and maritime interference in the region, they would face a decisive response from the Iranian armed forces.

It added that the Iran’s armed forces possess greater operational capacity and preparedness than ever before to defend national sovereignty and strategic interests, noting that this capability had already been demonstrated in previous confrontations.

The statement further warned that any renewed escalation would be met with heavier losses for both U.S. and Israeli enemy forces, emphasizing Iran’s continued monitoring of regional developments and its strategic control over the Strait of Hormuz.

It concluded by reaffirming Iran’s readiness to respond to any hostile actions in the region.
