About 2,496 Lebanese killed, 7,725 injured since start of Israeli aggression

BEIRUT, April 25 (YPA) – About 2,496 citizens have been killed and 7,725 others injured as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression on Lebanon since the start of the latest escalation on March 2, the Lebanese Ministry of Health said on Saturday.

In its daily statistical report published by the National News Agency, the ministry said that over the past 24 hours alone, 5 people were killed and 6 others wounded as a result of continued strikes.

It also noted that the aggression have led to the destruction of 15 hospitals and the shutdown of six others, further straining the country’s already overwhelmed health system.

Since March 2, Israeli aggression has intensified across Lebanese towns, villages, and civilian infrastructure, resulting in hundreds of fatalities, thousands of injuries, and the displacement of almost 1.5 million people, many of whom remain outside official shelter centers.
