Gaza death toll from Israeli aggression surpasses 72,000

GAZA, April 23 (YPA) – About 72,568 Palestinians have been killed and 172,338 injured in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, according to the Gaza-based Ministry of Health.

In its daily statistical report, the ministry said hospitals received six fatalities and 18 wounded over the past 24 hours as a result of ongoing Israeli aggression.

It added that since the ceasefire on October 11, a total of 972 people have been killed by Israeli occupation’s fire, with 2,235 others injured, while 761 bodies have been recovered.
