BEIRUT, April 23 (YPA) – Member of Parliament for the “Loyalty to the Resistance” bloc, Hassan Fadlallah, asserted on Thursday that Hezbollah is committed to dismantling the so-called “Yellow Line” in South Lebanon and overturning the repercussions of the war.
He emphasized that the sustainability of the current situation depends entirely on Israeli occupation’s conduct and compliance.
Fadlallah reaffirmed the party’s categorical refusal to engage in direct negotiations with the Israeli occupation, describing such a path as a “grave mistake” that exacerbates internal division.
He stated that the party supports the continuation of the ceasefire, provided there is full Israeli commitment to halting assassinations, aggression, and the systematic destruction of Lebanese villages.
The MP called for reshaping national policies based on a minimum level of consensus, stressing that the party (Hezbollah) seeks to avoid any internal confrontation.
This stance comes amid reports of persistent Israeli violations of the temporary ceasefire agreement, which was brokered by the United States on April 16.
