Young Palestinian killed by Israeli occupation gunfire near Rafah

GAZA, April 19 (YPA) – A young Palestinian man was shot and killed by Israeli forces last night northwest of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, Palestinian sources reported, citing medical sources.

According to the medical sources, Yousef Hassan was killed by gunfire from Israeli military vehicles stationed northwest of Rafah. His body was transferred to Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis.

Earlier, a child was injured by Israeli gunfire in the Mawasi area. Medical sources also announced the death of Ahmed Hani Obeid, 25, who succumbed to wounds he sustained in an Israeli strike on northern Gaza about a year ago.
