Zionist soldier killed, nine injured in southern Lebanon

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, April 19 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation military said Sunday morning that one of its soldiers was killed and nine others were injured – including one seriously –during a clash in southern Lebanon.

Israeli media reported that the troops had come under an ambush in the area – one of several such incidents since a 10-day temporary ceasefire took effect at 5 p.m. EST on Thursday, April 16, 2026 (midnight local time in Lebanon).

Hebrew media outlets identified the solider as first Sergeant (res.) Lidor Burat from Battalion 7106 of the 769th Regional Brigade.
