SANAA, April 15 (YPA) – Deputy Foreign Minister in Sanaa, Abdul Wahid Aburas, received on Wednesday a written letter from Mohammed Darwish, chairman of leadership council of Hamas movement.
According to the Sanaa-based Saba news agency, the letter addressed a recent law approved by the Israeli occupation’s Knesset allowing the execution of Palestinian prisoners held in the occupation’s jails.
It highlighted that this Zionist decision represents a grave violation of international law and international humanitarian law.
Darwish urged the international community to impose punitive measures on the occupying entity, activate mechanisms for international accountability, provide immediate and effective protection for Palestinian prisoners, and apply strong diplomatic and legal pressure to halt the implementation of the law.
