Sanaa warns of renewed military action if aggression against Iran resumes

SANAA, April 12 (YPA) – The Foreign Ministry of the Sanaa-based government said on Sunday the continued participation of the Iranian delegation in negotiations reflected a “new victory” for Iran and its allies in the so-called axis of resistance.

In a statement, the ministry said the United States had sought to achieve at the negotiating table what it failed to impose through military means, adding that efforts to undermine what it called the “unity of fronts” had not succeeded.

The statement also criticized remarks by Donald Trump, describing recent escalatory rhetoric and moves at sea as evidence of the failure of military options.

It warned that any renewed escalation by the United States or Israel could negatively impact global supply chains and energy markets.

The ministry further said Yemen would maintain its position alongside Iran in the event of renewed hostilities, indicating a potential increase in military involvement.
