GAZA, April 12 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation army continued its violations of the ceasefire, through carrying out extensive demolitions of Palestinian homes in Khan and shelling across various areas of the Gaza Strip, despite the ongoing ceasefire agreement.
Palestinian sources reported that Israeli tanks opened heavy fire in the southern and eastern parts of Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip, while also intensifying shelling east of Jabalia in the north.
In a separate development, the occupation forces demolished buildings east of Khan Younis, according to the sources.
Since the ceasefire came into effect on October 11, the total number of fatalities has reached 749, in addition to 2,082 injuries, while the total number of bodies recovered stands at 759.
