US destroyer returns from Strait of Hormuz after Iran’a stern warning

TEHRAN, April 11 (YPA) – The Iranian Fars News Agency reported in a breaking news bulletin Saturday evening that Iranian forces informed their negotiating delegation that a US destroyer was moving from the port of Fujairah toward the Strait of Hormuz.

Fars stated that Iran informed the Pakistani mediator that if the US destroyer continued its movement, it would be targeted within 30 minutes.

The agency added, “The US destroyer stopped its movement due to the firm response of the Iranian forces and the warnings issued by the Iranian delegation in Pakistan.”

Meanwhile, the Tasnim News Agency quoted the Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson as saying that a US destroyer was returning from the Strait of Hormuz after a firm warning from Iran.
