TEHRAN, April 10 (YPA) – Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi emphasized on Friday the urgent necessity of halting the “Zionist entity’s” attacks against Lebanon, reaffirming the Islamic Republic’s full solidarity with the “legitimate Lebanese resistance” against the Israeli occupation.
These remarks came during a phone call with Iran’s proposed ambassador to Lebanon, Mohammad Reza Raouf Sheibani, who provided a field and political report on the latest developments following the “brutal attacks” launched by the entity over the past few days.
The minister noted that the ceasefire understanding between Iran and the US includes Lebanon, stressing the need for the United States to fulfill its commitments in this regard.
Araghchi condemned the military aggressions and crimes committed by the Zionist entity, reiterating the Iranian government and people’s support for Lebanon.
