4 citizens killed, others injured due to US missiles launched from Kuwait to Iraq

BAGHDAD, April. 07 (YPA) – Four civilians were killed, on Tuesday, and several others injured when US missiles launched from Kuwait landed on a farm near Safwan border crossing in Basra governorate of Iraq, Iraqi sources told the Yemeni Press Agency.

The sources confirmed that the bombing killed an entire family after directly targeting their farm in Safwan area, amid shock and anger among the residents.

According to initial reports, the missiles were launched from inside Kuwait before landing inside Iraqi territory, causing casualties and material damage at the target site.

The incident comes amid escalating conflict in the region, with calls for an urgent investigation to uncover the circumstances of the bombing, determine responsibility, and respond to the crime.
