13 killed in series of deadly Israeli airstrikes across Lebanon
BEIRUT, April 06 (YPA) – Thirteen Lebanese citizens, mostly women and children, were killed and dozens more injured early Monday morning following intensive Israeli airstrikes targeting various regions across Lebanon.
According to reports from the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health, the casualties were distributed as follows:
- Beirut (Al-Jnah): 5 martyrs, including children, and 52 injured.
- Nabatieh (Toul): A man and his wife were martyred after their vehicle was targeted, leaving their children injured.
- Burj Rahal: 3 martyrs and the destruction of several homes.
- Ain Saadeh Hills: 3 martyrs (including two women) and 3 injuries.
The bombardment also struck the towns of Arzoun and Al-Ghandouriya, amid heavy reconnaissance and fighter jet activity over the villages of Tyre, causing widespread destruction to property and infrastructure.
