TEHRAN, April 05 (YPA) – The Deputy Foreign Ministers of the Sultanate of Oman and the Islamic Republic of Iran held a virtual meeting on Saturday to discuss mechanisms for “safe passage” through the Strait of Hormuz, with the participation of technical and legal experts from both countries.
According to Iran’s “Tasnim” news agency, both sides reviewed the current state of navigation in the strait, emphasizing the exclusive role of Oman and Iran as coastal states in securing the waterway.
