BEIRUT, April 04 (YPA) – The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon said on Saturday it had carried out coordinated military operations targeting Israeli occupation’s positions and troop concentrations in the northern occupied territories, along with shelling several settlements, as part of the “Eaten Storm” battle and in response to ongoing escalation.
In a series of statements, it said the operations included the sniping of an Israeli soldier near the Khiam detention center, as well as strikes on a military base, artillery positions, and gatherings of troops and vehicles using rocket fire at different times.
It added that it shelled the settlements of Kiryat Shmona and Metula, and targeted additional military sites, including Mount Neria base and troop concentrations in Misgav Am, Beit Hillel, and the Yiftah barracks.
The group said the operations were carried out in defense of Lebanon and its people amid continued confrontations since early March.
