Six civilians injured in Israeli airstrike on Gaza

GAZA, April 03 (YPA) – Six civilians were injured on Friday in an Israeli occupation airstrike targeting the Abu Sharakh roundabout in northern Gaza, as ceasefire violations in the Strip continued.

Local sources said the occupation’s drone struck a group of civilians near the roundabout, wounding six people. In a separate incident, another civilian was shot in the hand by the occupation forces in Al-Bureij camp in central Gaza.

Since October 10, the occupation has continued to breach the ceasefire through artillery and airstrikes, as well as gunfire from military vehicles and naval vessels, alongside the demolition of buildings and infrastructure across the Gaza Strip.

According to local reports, these incidents have resulted in 714 deaths and 1,940 injuries in recent weeks. The Gaza-based Ministry of Health states that, since October 7, 2023, the overall toll has reached 72,289 fatalities and 172,040 wounded.
