Iranian military spokesman: We will teach Washington a lesson so that it will never invade any country

TEHRAN, April 03 (YPA) –  Spokesman for the Iranian Armed Forces Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi, said that Iran’s armed forces have the initiative on the ground, dismissing false claims by former US President Donald Trump that Iran’s military capabilities had been destroyed.

In a statement, Shekarchi: Trump has said for the umpteenth time that we have destroyed the Iranian armed forces; so if you destroy them, missiles are raining down on your commanders and officers from Mars? If the Iranian armed forces are destroyed, how are advanced equipment, economic centers, and American companies in the region being destroyed?

Stating that we targeted the $700 million American AWACS with a drone, Brigadier General Shekarchi emphasized: A significant number of our drones land on the heads of the Zionists and American bases in the region every day.

“We are waiting for Trump to invade. We will teach them such a lesson that they will never attempt to invade any country again,” Brigadier General Shekarchi said.

He vowed to turn direct confrontation zones into a “slaughterhouse” for US troops, aiming to instill fear in future generations considering voluntary enlistment in the American military.

“If enemy soldiers are hiding today in hotels and ports, a ground war will leave them no shelter whatsoever,” Shekarchi said. He also declared that the Strait of Hormuz would remain closed to Americans and Israelis, adding that they would not be able to access it “under any pretext.”

The spokesman concluded by asserting that Iran’s strategy is to completely expel the United States from West Asia, adding that Washington is now seeking an exit that saves face.

Shekarchi stressed that Iran would not leave the Americans alone even if they declared an end to the war. He said Tehran would continue to pressure them, avenge the blood of martyrs, punish the aggressor, and forcibly recover all losses.

“This will not end with a ceasefire as happened before,” he said. “The longer the confrontation lasts, the greater America’s defeat and humiliation in the region will be.”
