Sanaa calls on Saudi Arabia to end Yemen blockade: “Fighting Iran” pretext has failed

SANAA, March 24 (YPA) –  Mohammed Al-Fareh, a member of the Ansarallah Political Bureau, has called on the Saudi regime to immediately lift the blockade on Yemen and cease military operations, asserting that the justifications provided by the Saudi-led coalition over the past years are no longer valid.

Writing on the “X” platform, Al-Fareh explained that using “Iranian influence” as a pretext to justify war in Yemen, Lebanon, or Palestine is no longer acceptable—especially since Iran has reached the Saudi “heartland,” as he put it.

He urged Riyadh to restrain those promoting such narratives, stating that the continued draining of Yemen’s resources and the destruction of its infrastructure constitutes an unjustified targeting of the Yemeni people now that “the facts have been revealed.”

Al-Fareh concluded by emphasizing that those seeking a real confrontation should engage in the arenas where they claim their adversary actually exists, rather than using Yemen as a battlefield for a conflict that has lost all strategic justification.
