DHAMAR, March. 24 (YPA) – The Earthquake and Volcano Monitoring and Study Center announced that two separate earthquakes were recorded in Dhamar governorate and the Gulf of Aden during the past few hours.

The seismic bulletin issued by the center confirmed that monitoring stations recorded a light earthquake at 4:39 PM yesterday, northeast of Ma’bar city, the center of Jahran district in Dhamar.
The bulletin indicated that the earthquake measured 2.6 on the Richter scale, which is among the light tremors that are not felt by residents.
The center also reported that monitoring stations recorded another earthquake at 1:02 AM this morning, Tuesday, with a magnitude of 3.0 on the Richter scale, in the Gulf of Aden region.

It is worth noting that the Earthquake and Volcano Monitoring and Study Center in Dhamar monitors the seismic situation around the clock through its network of stations spread across various Yemeni governorates.
