SANAA, March 21 (YPA) -The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning has forecast partly cloudy conditions and rainfall of varying intensity across most provinces over the next 24 hours, accompanied by thunderstorms and hail in mountainous and coastal areas.
According to the weather bulletin, rainfall is expected in Saada, Amran, Hajjah, Mahwit, Sanaa, Dhamar, Raymah, Ibb, Taiz, Dhalea, Bayda, as well as the highlands of Lahj, Abyan, and Shabwah.
Scattered showers are also possible in Jawf, Marib, Hadramout, Mahra, Aden, and Al Hudaydah, in addition to parts of the southern and eastern coasts.
The center warned of flash floods in valleys and low-lying areas, as well as potential rockslides on mountain roads, urging caution for drivers.
It also advised maritime operators to exercise caution due to rough sea conditions, with waves that could reach up to four meters and strong winds along the western coast and the Bab al-Mandab expected to exceed 30 knots.
