TEHRAN, March 21 (YPA) – Iran on Saturday evening launched several missiles toward the city of Dimona in the Negev desert on Saturday evening, where a nuclear facility is located, amid escalating regional tensions, Iranian state television reported, citing military sources.
The Israeli military claimed its air defense systems intercepted the missiles before they reached their targets.
The occupation did not provide details regarding damage to the facility or potential casualties resulting from the strike.
The attack is part of a series of missile and drone strikes carried out by Iran against US bases and Israeli targets in response to ongoing military aggression against it.
