TEHRAN, March 19 (YPA) – Deputy Commander of the Islamic Republic of Iran Navy (IRIN) Admiral Hamzeh Ali Kaviani, stated on Thursday that, contrary to widespread claims and media propaganda, the U.S. aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln has not dared to approach sensitive areas in the region.
In a statement, he emphasized that the Iranian Navy has prepared plans to counter the movements of the Zionist entity, though their details remain undisclosed for security reasons.
He added that measures and strategies are currently being implemented that have prevented adversaries from nearing Iran’s borders.
Pamani also noted that the armed forces—particularly the Navy—have adopted deterrent actions well understood by their enemies, which has discouraged them from approaching both the country’s borders and the Strait of Hormuz.
On February 28, the United States and the Zionist entity reportedly launched a new offensive against Iran, resulting in the deaths of hundreds of civilians and targeting schools, hospitals, mosques, and other civilian infrastructure.
In response, Iran carried out Operation “True Promise 4” against the Zionist entity and U.S. bases in the region.
