BEIRUT, March 15 (YPA) – The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon said in two separate statements that its operations were carried out in response to the Israeli attacks that targeted dozens of Lebanese cities and towns, as well as the southern suburbs of Beirut.
In statements, the group said that, in defense of Lebanon and its people, its fighters targeted the Palmachim Air Base, south of “Tel Aviv”, on Sunday. The base, located about 140 kilometers from the Lebanese border, was struck with what the group described as a precision missile.
It added that its fighters targeted a gathering of Israeli military vehicles in the Khalat Al-Aqsa area on the outskirts of the border town of Adeisa, using a swarm of attack drones.
The group stressed that the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon would continue its operations in response to the escalating Israeli attacks since March 2 this year.
