TEHRAN, March 14 (YPA) – The Iranian Armed Forces announced in an official statement that they had successfully neutralized the US aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln, forcing it to leave the region.
The Armed Forces spokesperson stated that the operation resulted in the carrier’s “flight” after its operational role was neutralized.
In a related development, the spokesperson for the Khatam al-Anbiya Construction Headquarters revealed the execution of two new waves of attacks as part of what is known as “True Promise 4” Operation.
The Tasnim International News Agency confirmed the downing of MQ-9 Reaper drones over the cities of Firouzabad and Bandar Abbas, in addition to another drone in the skies over Tabriz, by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ air defense systems.
According to the statement, the total number of drones that Tehran has announced shooting down has risen to 112, ranging from combat and reconnaissance to suicide missions.
In response to recent US threats, Tehran issued a strongly worded warning. The military spokesman emphasized that if Iranian oil or energy infrastructure is attacked, the response will extend to the destruction of all oil and economic facilities belonging to companies in which the United States has a stake or with which it cooperates throughout the entire region.
For its part, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps released statistics on its operations since the start of the confrontations, indicating that it has targeted 500 US and Israeli military targets so far, as part of what it described as a response to hostile actions in the region.
