Iran warns UAE: US missile launch sites will be among our legitimate targets

TEHRAN, March 14 (YPA) – The spokesman for Iran’s Khatam Central Headquarters, Colonel Ebrahim Zolfaghari, announced that Iran considers targeting US missile launch sites located in some UAE cities a “legitimate right” to defend its sovereignty.

Tehran accused the US military of using sites and bunkers near ports and docks within the UAE to launch attacks targeting Abu Musa Island and parts of Iran’s Kharg Island.

Zolfaghari confirmed that the Islamic Republic had officially informed the UAE leadership that it would treat these sites as sources of hostile fire.

The statement called on UAE citizens and residents of neighborhoods near ports to evacuate areas where US forces are stationed to avoid damage resulting from any potential military response.

The spokesman emphasized that this move falls within the framework of defending Iranian national sovereignty in response to the damage inflicted on its facilities.
