Gaza Health Ministry: to 72,126 killed, 171,809 injured since October 7, 2023

GAZA, March 08 (YPA) – The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Sunday that the death toll from the Israeli occupation genocide has risen to 72,126 martyrs, with 171,809 injured since October 7, 2023.

In its daily statistical report regarding the number of martyrs and wounded resulting from the Israeli aggression on the Strip, the Gaza Health Ministry clarified that hospitals received 3 martyrs (one newly martyred and two recovered bodies) and 4 injured over the past 24 hours.

The ministry further revealed that since the ceasefire on October 11, the total number of martyrs killed by the Israeli enemy army’s fire reached 641, with 1,711 total wounded, and 755 bodies recovered from previous incidents.

The report noted that a large number of victims remain under the rubble and on the roads, as ambulance and civil defense crews have been unable to reach them up to this moment.
